Corporate Members
Members comprise organisations who have the size and ability to ensure the efficacy of the BCSDZ whilst, at the same time, experiencing a high profile in terms of their sustainable development activities. Corporate members have full voting rights.

Consultancy Members
Members comprise enterprises and experts that offer sustainable development services for commercial purposes who are in good standing ad uphold the ethics of corporate sustainability. The category includes both consulting firms and independent consulting experts who have the ability to carry out projects in multidisciplinary areas such as: environment,, energy, water, waste, occupational safety and health, chemicals management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Whilst members in this category are fully fledged in their services, they are flexible and willing to support BCSDZ initiatives when called to action. They have voting rights.

Research and NGO
Members comprise of organisations that are involved in Research and Development (R & D), academic research, organisational research as well as not-for profit institutions. Due to their ability to devote significant amounts of their times on activities that help to build communities, they are also able to share their experiences with broader membership. They have voting rights.

Associate Members
Members comprise small-size businesses (typically one-person/owner-operated) that share the goals of the BCSDZ and are prepared to make a visible commitment to these. They have no voting rights but may partake in meetings and other activities.

Affiliate Members
Municipalities and other environmentally related Statutory Bodies who share the goals of the BCSDZ, are prepared to make a visible commitment to these, and who are invited to join the BCSDZ at the discretion of the Council. They have no voting rights but may partake in meetings and other activities.
